This is the only KME in the county. It was purchased new by the Chesterfield Fire Department in 1997 to start phasing out Mack fire apparatus. This unit previously Served at Company 1 as their first out engine.
 
This is the first enclosed cab fire engine that Wagstaff Circle has ever had. The enclosed cab provides a much safer environment for our members than our older open cab models. This engine replaced a 1982 Mack Fire Engine that now serves as a training engine.

 This unit was purchased by the Wagstaff Circle Volunteer Fire Department in 2002. It serves as the departments brush truck. It provides brush truck serves to not only our district, but to Co’s 2, 9, 20, and 24. In 2006 it was the busiest brush truck in the county. This unit also responds on any other call the station has on an as needed basis. During inclement weather it is outfitted with EMS equipment and additional hose to support and provide access to locations where larger vehicles cannot go.

This unit was purchased new by the Chesterfield Fire Department in 1982. This unit previously served at Company 4 as their first out engine and then their second out engine. This unit had a cosmetic refurbishment around 2000 to include updated emergency lighting. 
 
This was the last open cab fire apparatus assigned to the Wagstaff Circle Volunteer Fire Department. This unit currently serves at the Enon Fire Training Center as a training engine.

This unit was purchased new by the Chesterfield Fire Department in 1969. This unit served its entire service life at the Wagstaff Circle Volunteer Fire Department.   
 
This unit is noteworthy for a number of reasons. 
They include:
            This is the last new Red Fire Engine ever purchased by the county
            This is the first “Custom Cab” fire engine ever purchased by the county.
            This is the first Mack ever purchased by the county. In the late 1980’s Chesterfield had the 3rd largest fleet of MackFire Apparatus in the country, only beat by New York City and Chicago. 
            This is the first diesel fire apparatus purchased by the county
 
This unit came back to the station in 2005 from Old Dominion Historical Society as a parade piece, but in 2008 due to costs involved it was transferred to a member. This unit can still be seen at parades and shows on a regular basis.
